Capitola CA – 7th August, 2013 – Falafel Software is pleased to announce the addition of another Sitefinity veteran to its team, Venkata Koppaka. For the past two years, Venkata has worked at Telerik as the lead developer for the Sitefinity ecommerce module and will now use his experience and expertise to help Falafel’s customers.
“We’re very excited that Venkata has decided to join our team”, said Lino Tadros, President and CEO of Falafel Software. “From the first time I spoke to him I knew his passion for technology and his eager personality would be a great fit for our team. We are lucky to have him.”
Customers are lucky too. They will appreciate Venkata’s Sitefinity ecommerce experience, but will be dazzled by his general knowledge of technology and his vast skill set. Venkata has earned both an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in Computer Science, and simply loves technology. He has a public Github repository where he shares projects he is working on and has already published his own application to the Windows Phone store. The app, “Cost2Meet” uses Telerik’s RadControls for Windows Phone and calculates how much each meeting costs you. Users of other smartphones will likely find Cost2Meet on their platforms shortly, as Venkata plans to use Xamarin’s tools to build a cross platform version.
The ability to continue to work with Sitefinity, but also explore other mobile technologies was a big factor in Venkata’s decision to join Falafel.
“I am very excited to join the team at Falafel Software, it is the best software development team I have ever talked to. The combination of team and technology was unbeatable.”
