Santa Cruz, CA — Today Telerik Inc released its Telerik Trainer tool to the general public. Falafel Software's WPF team spent the last year working hard to create this software for Telerik, and we are extremely proud of the end result.

In the words of Telerik's Chief Evangelist Todd Anglin: "This WPF training tool is easily the most advanced self-paced developer training tool I've ever seen and I think it is going to set a new standard in learning tools.".

The Telerik Trainer is an advanced multimedia player, that plays videos describing how to use Telerik's products. Each session is about 10 minutes and covers some important aspect of using the components. As the video plays, a table of contents shows you where you are in the overall presentation, and sets of bullet points highlight important notes. Best of all, the sessions come with code examples in Visual Basic.NET and C#, and as each topic is covered, you can click a button to launch Visual Studio and study, build and run the relevant code yourself.

The initial response has been overwhelming. One user writes "So cool! Totally blew me away. This should become THE standard in software training".

Not only did Falafel create the tool itself, using cutting edge technology like WPF, Linq, and .NET Framework 3.5, we also produced an initial set of 27 training sessions that can be downloaded from Telerik's site. And Falafel's web design department created the user interface in collaboration with Telerik's designers. From architecture, to project management, implementation, design, help system, QA, installer and packaging, our WPF team delivered the works.
