Trefethen, former R&D Staff Engineer at CodeGear, Borland’s Developer Tools Group, has over 15 years of experience working along side some of the world’s leading software developers.

Trefethen has extensive experience in component framework design and implementation as well as being an expert in test automation. He is well known and respected within the Delphi community around the world not only for his product contributions but also his highly visible online presence as Borland's top blogger. Steve implemented a significant portion of Delphi's ASP.NET designer as well numerous Delphi IDE/VCL/RTL features over the years. He has a BA in Computer Science from the University of Maine and lives in Scotts Valley, CA with his wife and children.
